In eContracts, Listing and Sales contracts are referred to as Parent Contracts. It is important to understand that the Client Name and the Property Address will be populated into all associated documents, disclosures, and templated SMART contracts from the PARENT LISTING or SALES CONTRACT; therefore, we recommend that you create a Parent Contract, first and foremost for all types of transactions you are starting.

There are nine Parent Contracts in your account: 4 Listing contracts and 6 Sale contracts
Listing: EXCLUSIVE RIGHT-TO-SELL LISTING CONTRACT
Listing: EXCLUSIVE RIGHT-TO-LEASE LISTING CONTRACT
Listing: EXCLUSIVE RIGHT-TO-BUY LISTING CONTRACT
Listing: EXCLUSIVE TENANT LISTING CONTRACT
Sales: CONTRACT TO BUY AND SELL-Residential
Sales: CONTRACT TO BUY AND SELL-Income-Residential
Sales: CONTRACT TO BUY AND SELL-Commercial

This means that once any PARENT CONTRACT has been created, the DISCLOSURES you add to that transaction will auto-populate the client(s) name and the address (unless you have created the Buyer Agency) into the DISCLOSURES.
If the Client Name or Property Address is changed in the PARENT CONTRACT, the change will occur in the additional DISCLOSURES/DOCUMENTS automatically once you click the SAVE button.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Changes to the Client Name and Property Address can only be made when all documents in the Detailed Transaction are UNLOCKED. There can be NO LOCKED DOCUMENTS, either in the transaction or under the hidden folder.
