Client Access Feature

Be sure to scroll down and watch the video!

Now you can send to your clients or any participant, a secure link for 24/7 document access to a transaction.  Using this feature, Client Access, any participant will be able to access transaction information such as eContracts docs/DOCUMENTS, PDF docs , eCalendar and eContact Sheet from one single screen.

This saves you time, from sending separate emails to your client so they have access to eContracts docs, PDF Files/other files in Docs Management, the eContact Sheet and the eCalendar.

NOTE:   Client Access will not trigger integration between two eContracts agents.

Within a Detailed Transaction click on Client Access on the Detailed Dashboard. This will bring up a screen with your client`s name and their email address, if you have saved that in your Clients Database. You will need to put in the email address if it does not auto populate. CTM will generate a password. Now click the radio button next to Allow: Allow  Check the box to Send (email) eContracts Client Access

Check the box, to (your) client
and add a message to your client.

New Enhancement: Send eContracts Client Access to client
(the password will be included in the email UNLESS this box is unchecked)

Important:  When you un-check the box not to include the password, you will provide an additional level of safety by texting or calling your client with their generated password. You will want to watch our video on this topic for more detailed information.

You will want to watch the Help Video Tutorial: Client Access Security Enhancement, for more detailed information.

NOTE:  You will probably want to include a personal message instructing your client to keep this email handy and not delete it as it contains a live interactive link to Client Access.  You can customize what eContract doc or PDF document your client or participant can access. When a new document is added, you can give the access to this new document without having to email the Client Access link again. Just check the box or boxes (to allow) docs, eContact Sheet, eCalendar etc. Then click Save. When you click Save an email will be sent automatically to your client with the login link and information. You can verify that this email has been sent by checking at the top of the Detailed Dashboard.

eContracts Client Access successfully sent to:

Client Name - client_email_address

Just above the Primary Contact for this Client Access you will see a link to View the client access as your client will see it.

You may want to click on this link to gain an understanding of exactly how your client will view access through this screen. You can remove or add docs at any time as well as cancel the access.

Multiple Transaction Access:

You can also grant the same client access to multiple transactions so your client can view all transaction info from one single screen. After you successfully email establish Client Access for one transaction, eContracts will automatically create the client or participant record in the Clients Database. Within this record you will be able to view the access of all transactions per client. If you click on a Client`s Name in the Clients Database, you will see this in the bottom portion of the screen the eContracts Summary for this client. Each transaction for that client will be listed and to the right of the transaction address there will be a blue link Edit- Denied or Edit- Allowed.

If you click on the link (either Denied or Allowed) you will be able to edit the level of Client Access for that transaction. In this way, once you have given Client Access to one transaction, you may easily Allow access to additional transactions either past or present. You can also easily edit the level of access for each transaction. If you give Client Access to multiple transactions your client will need to click on the blue link Transactions in the upper left of their access screen to identify which transaction, they wish to access.

NOTE: Client Access Security Enhancement This feature allows you to send a secure link for 24/7 document access, to your clients or any associated participant to a transaction. We have enhanced the security of this feature. Now, when you un-check the box not to include the password , you will provide an additional level of safety by texting or calling your client with their generated password. Participants will be able to access complete transaction information such as eContracts docs/DOCUMENTS, PDF docs , eCalendar and eContact Sheet from one single screen. Therefore, you won`t have to send separate emails for your client to access eContracts docs, PDF Files/other files in Docs Management, the eContact Sheet and the eCalendar.
