Detail Dashboard - Adding Custom Deadlines to a Transaction

CTM One Users Only:

You can create and add your personal custom deadlines which are displayed and
tracked in the same way the standard contract deadlines are.

There are two ways to create your Custom Deadlines ("to-do" items) and add them to a transaction.

A. Click the Custom Deadlines link on the Detailed Dashboard for a particular transaction. This feature allows you to create your own Custom Deadline(s) for a particular transaction or add in deadlines from your Custom Deadlines Master list.

NOTE:  Any deadlines updated with a Due Date, will automatically be added to the eCalendar for that transaction and your L/S Calendar for all transactions on your Main Dashboard.

 B. Create your Custom Deadlines Master Settings (create 44 custom master deadlines and pull only what you need into each transaction) under Utilities. View this Help Video Tutorials for help in setting up your Custom Deadlines Master Settings.

Adding Custom Deadlines to a Transaction:

On your Main Dashboard, click the address for the transaction. In the Detailed Dashboard for that particular transaction click on Custom Deadlines. A new window will open, and you will be able to click on the orange link Add My Custom Deadlines . When you click on this link you can select specific custom deadlines or Select All to add custom deadlines to your transaction.

Any boxes you have checked in the Custom Deadlines Master Settings under Utilities - Personal Settings requesting reminders and notifications will transfer to this detailed transaction. These settings include whether you want a custom deadline to appear on the eCalendar emailed to participants, if you wish an email reminder prior to the deadline and an email reminder on the due date. You may further adjust these settings within this transaction.

Don`t forget to scroll down and click the blue SAVE button.

TIP:  You can also add a note for a particular custom deadline by clicking on the icon of the white piece of paper with the yellow pencil  located in the # column to the left of the custom Deadline Name.

You can add a new custom deadline just for this transaction by clicking on the orange link in the upper left Create New Custom Deadline. Type the custom deadline name and click save. Indicate if you would like to receive an email notification, etc.

Remember:  This new Custom Deadline is for this particular transaction only. You can have up to 44 custom deadlines. For each Custom Deadline, you will need to select the deadline date from the calendar, and you will need to check the box under Status when it is "Done".

Finally, you can add general notes regarding your Custom Deadlines in the Notes section at the bottom of the list of Custom Deadlines in a Detailed Transaction. Don`t forget to click on the blue SAVE button.
