It is very important to understand the functionality of the Web Signature for other participants besides your clients.
NOTE: Even after a Contract, Document or Disclosure has been Locked you can allow the other participants to sign online. The Web Signature boxes for participants other than your clients will be available after you typed the names of the participants in the appropriate boxes in the Editing Section of the contract/document and click Save. This must be done prior to anyone signing the document because once the document is signed-the document will be locked.
Contract to Buy and Sell
In the case of a Contract To Buy, you can add the Seller`s name and the Listing Agents information in the editing section of the contract allowing them to sign online even if the contract has been signed by the buyers (locked). The Listing Agent does not have to be an eContracts Agent.
Once any seller or the listing agent has signed, no other names can be added or modified.
Notice that when you add the seller`s name, it will create the signature boxes for the sellers and the Countered and Rejected initials boxes.
