Messages can be sent from the Main Dashboard, from the Detailed Dashboard and by selecting the orange EMAIL Contracts link within a Detailed Transaction.
If you wish to send just a message, and DO NOT want to email contracts with the message, you may click on the Messages link in the upper right of either the Main Dashboard or the Detailed Dashboard. Then click in the upper left on the blue Create a New Message link. This will bring up a screen where you can type in your message.
NOTE: You may type in multiple email addresses, separating them with a semi-colon.
You can also insert your personal information by checking boxes next to Photo, eSignature, Co Logo, and Personal Message. You may create default choices for this personal information by going to Utilities and clicking on Account Personal Info.
Once the message is fully addressed, click Send to email the message.
NOTE: Sending Messages from a Detailed Transaction is recommended. This will ensure that the Full Report has all the Messages related to that transaction. Messages sent from the Main Dashboard will NOT be associated with a Detailed Transaction.
If you are within a Detailed Transaction, all email addresses in your eContact Sheet will be populated at the bottom of the screen, so you just check the box next to the name.
You may also create a message within a Detailed Transaction by clicking on the orange EMAIL Contracts link to the right above the list of CONTRACT/DISCLOSURES/DOCUMENTS or in Docs Management by clicking on the blue Prepare to Email Documents button. The message screen will open, and you can create your message, add email addresses at the top if needed or check boxes next to the appropriate individuals underneath the message body.
If you need to select documents to email with the message, put a check into the box to the right of each document you wish to send. The message (and any documents) will be sent when you click on the blue Email Selected Docs at the bottom right of the screen below the list of all documents.
You can see all messages sent by clicking on Messages on the Main Dashboard. To see only the messages Sent for a Detailed Transaction, click on Messages on a Detailed Dashboard.
