The most secure way to get documents to the other side of the transaction is to SHARE all documents through Integration.  Sharing stops the email madness AND under your messages system, the documents are not live links.

NOTE:  If an email is intercepted, documents can be opened.  Each document is embedded or attached and can be viewed.
